RORCAL was formed in Geneva, Switzerland, in 2006. After several efforts and shows across Europe, their fifth release in 2010, HELIOGABALUS, marked a radical change in the band’s music. Dark and heavy, this 70-minute monolithic piece saw RORCAL sink deeper into the abysses of sound. After touring Europe and working on collaborative releases, RORCAL returned with a new set entitled VILAGVEGE, blending elements of drone, doom, and black metal.
