Founded in 2008, Killbody Tuning took flight with the release of their first record, « The French Hunter, » a four-track EP-demo laying the groundwork for a unique journey. The group collaborated with the theater company Passaparola in the following year, composing music for the play « Clinique de la Raison Close. » During live performances, Killbody Tuning rearranged songs by Philippe Léotard, giving his texts a more atmospheric and mysterious dimension. The band then extended its musical exploration to cinema, working on the soundtrack for Julien Humbert-Droz’s short film « Dernière Chasse » in 2010. After numerous live performances in Switzerland and France, the group spent a year composing and rearranging new pieces under the guidance of Julien Fehlmann (Studio Mécanique). Recorded live and mixed by Julien Fehlmann, « Hello! Welcome, So Far… » fully translates the intensity and emotional power of Killbody Tuning’s universe.
